More PBs: Montreal Endurance starts into June

Here’s a quick rundown of the efforts and exploits of our crew in this first weekend of June:

Alex St. Jalm finished 2nd in his age group at Mooseman 70.3. His time was 4:44.

Javier Cuevas was in the lead pack at ITU Dallas (was 6th out of the water!) when he crashed on the bike. He’s ok though.

Amélie Kretz (NA Junior Tri Champ) destroyed her PB by running 17:11 and finishing 2nd overall (and 1st woman) at the Tri-O-Lacs race. Leslie Gold ran a solid 19:05 for 3rd woman.

Dave Liu finished 2nd at the Bread and Honey 15k in Mississagua, Ontario in a time of 54:38.

Katrina Driver won the X-Trail Asics race in Sutton in 2:33, just missing the course record!

Didier Morelli and Guillaume Ouellet had unofficial 1500m times recorded in Sherbrooke, with no power and rain, and apparently no rabbit as promised? They were between 4:10-20 I’m told.

Molly Howes ran 1500 in 5:22 in the rain (opened in 87–conservative as planned, but maybe too conservative!), and then four hours later ran an 800m PB (or close) in 2:30, splitting 77/73, which indicates she can certainly go faster with a more aggressive opening lap.

Bertrand Montel had a bike race in Vermont. Was supposed to be 123k, ended up being 150k, wind and rain, hilly. Time was 7h20. Solid prep for a distance triathlon!

Great weekend, team! Way to go!
