The Canadian cross country championships are upon us. Yes, cue the snide remarks about the “age-group” season being done, and get ready for the real men and women.
Things went down at Thames Valley Golf Course. I think it is only fair to look at the results, and compare them to the predictions.
The MOC had a very successful weekend at the FQA cross-country championships in Sherbrooke. Our club reached the podium in three of the four races where we fielded a full team, and had a number of excellent individual performances.

It’s go time. Not quite full-on show time, but at least at the conference championships we know that most teams will have their best line-ups lined up, looking to show their respective athletics departments how competitive they can be within their geographically defined units.

Today on Mont Royal, the English Montreal schools held their yearly cross country meet. Our group at Westmount High had a nice showing: Edgar Hudson led the Bantam boys group with an 9th place finish, Simon Brooks was 29, and Malthe Sporring was 112.
