GMAA XC race
Today on Mont Royal, the English Montreal schools held their yearly cross country meet. Our group at Westmount High had a nice showing: Edgar Hudson led the Bantam boys group with an 9th place finish, Simon Brooks was 29, and Malthe Sporring was 112. In the juvenile girls race Akinasi Partridge was a solid 54th, and in the juvenile boys race, Tim Barrett moved up well, starting in 29th spot after one lap, and finishing 15th.
Congrats to the winners of all the races, Sara Masi of Lester B. Pearson, and Charles Cooper of Royal West Academy in juvenile, Jacob Sacksner and Amanda Rae of St. Thomas (Coach Liz’ alma mater) in Midget, and Thomas Caprera of Loyola and Grace Manning of The Study in Bantam. Good luck to them and other qualifiers at the provincial championships in Chicoutimi!
