Start List/Liste de Départ: Keep on keepin’ on.

It’s grind time. The summer has barely begun, but the links today are littered with walking wounded, demoralized, and disappointed runners. It happens. Luckily, there are some good results sprinkled in there, too. It’s been a fun season so far. More to come!

A few local links to start:

Didier Morelli is dealing with some leg pain. It’s a tough thing to battle an injury. He’s doing it right.

Stephane Colle had a rough one, but he’s bouncing back.

You know who else had a crappy race recently? Simon Bairu. It happens.

Another Ottawa race report from Derek Nakluski. And G.I. Jane gives us the dirty scoop on her DNF.

And finally something from Matt Lincoln, who had a disappointing race at Oxy a couple weeks ago.

Also displeased: Jeremy Walsh.

Reid Coolsaet is not so much displeased with his race, as he is ready to move on to the next one.

André Lefort’s last week pre-injury looked like this.

Looking forward to Friday’s talk at Boutique Endurance with Sweat Science’s Alex Hutchinson, Canadian Running published a little round-table on minimalist running. Check it out.

La prochaine episode d’un serie qu’on aime beaucoup, chez Trimes. Triathletes. How do they work?

Ian Donald turns the family track crown over to his little bro.

Wow, Peter Corrigan knows how to build dramatic tension!

Jay MacDonald does not have crises. I don’t know, it must have been a heck of a something to stand Jay up. He’s a catch, that guy!

Smart post by a smart guy: Adam Campbell. Focus on the goal.

Often talked about, rarely seen: the indoor steeplechase.

Too often seen, trying to forget: footage of Manny Boisvert and Charlie PT singing…and dancing…but there’s some running, too, so check it out.
