This is probably the best post Steve Weiler has ever written. Maybe I’m exaggerating, but I think it’s a really important message that people often miss.
And Ian Donald’s next post is putting that theory into practice.
If your blood pressure drops in the forest, and no one is there to study it, did it really drop? Sweat Science, ya’ll!
A couple more new blogs for our list:
Geoff Martinson ran for 5 years for UVic. Now he’s going all in to try to make the Canadian Olympic team in 2012. A few samples from his blog include the build up to, and results from, a recent 5k race at Stanford. Also, he asks what all of us were asking about the Rupp-mask.
Another Canadian post-collegiate, Matt Lincoln, was in Scottsdale, AZ as well, in the same group as Martinson, and working his way back from injury. He’s back to real training, and he’s also writing about food, and March Madness. He’s originally from Toronto, where he got to help out with some CFL drug testing recently. The best part about his blog, and this not a comment on the quality of the writing, just on how awesome the name is: he calls it “The Lincoln Logs.” Nice.
